The Magno wooden radio - an eco design by Singgih Susilo Kartono. Each radio is handcrafted in 16 hours. Each of them is a single piece and has its individual number and date printed in. Made from Sonokeling and pine wood, Kartono and his team only use trees from plantation and care for the re-plantation in their home town, Temanggung - Indonesia. In designing this product, Singgih endeavours to recreate unperfect and uncomplete products through minimizing the unnecessary features. This un-perfectness is a conscious and deliberate creation. Featuring 2 bands: FM, AM. Connection to the current via adaptor and 4 AA batteries. Take care of your radio by using some wood-oil from time to time.
